Pearly Whites and De Ja Vu

Madison began cutting her first two teeth about a month ago. I have finally gotten around to taking pictures and posting this milestone! Check out her pearly whites!

Many of you that have been following our blog for a while might remember this picture and may recall last year, when Hailey cut teeth somewhat out of the "normal" teeth cutting order. Instead of her top two front teeth coming in first, she cut what we called her "fangs" first.

Well it must be something in our genetics because it looks like Madison is also on track to have fangs!! Stay tuned...

(Look closely just below my thumb, you can faintly see her first "fang")

Photo Session

While we were in Colorado for our last visit I had the girls photographed. Susan Armitage of Armitage Photography did our wedding pictures and I thought that it would be fun for her to do pictures of Hailey and Madison. We had a great time and got some wonderful pictures. Susan really enjoyed seeing how our life has changed in 3 short years! We hope to have her do a family portrait at some point when Dave is in Colorado with us. Here are a few of my favorites!

First Bath Together

This is a milestone for us for two reasons. First, I can put away the baby tub, Madison is sitting up well enough to use the bath seat, therefore less clean up for me. Secondly, and most importantly, Daddy does bath time, so that means that I get a few minutes without either girl on bath nights!!

They are both getting so big and just changing every day. There is not a week that goes by that I think, "wow, last year at this time Hailey was doing..., and next year at this time Madison will be doing..." They each bring such joy to our lives, and even though there can be moments that are a bit crazy, I wouldn't trade it for anything!!

When Dave washes their hair, he just dumps the water right over their heads. Hailey thinks that it is funny and laughs, while wiping the water from her eyes. From this picture I think that Madison wants me to rescue her before her turn!

Hailey Playing T-Ball

At the park just down the street from us, they have free concerts on Friday evenings during August.  Dave was home from work and it was a beautiful evening so we headed over there with some friends.  We all had a great time listening to music and watching the kids play.  Hailey participated in her own game of t-ball.  We have a little work to do getting her to use the right end of the bat, but she did great considering this was her first time!

Madison is Starting to Crawl

Madison started to really scoot herself around the last few days.  I don't know if I am ready for her to be on the move too!  I can only imagine what her and Hailey will get in to together!
