Settling In

Now that we have made it home, we are trying to get settled.  Slowly but surely I think that it is happening.  We have be blessed to have Dave home with us this week.  Having the extra set of hands has been great.  Madison is doing well and I feel wonderful.  Hailey is getting the hang of being a big sister and Dave loves being the Daddy of two little girls!

Not to happy to be in the car seat.

Happy at home

Madison Cecilia Donahue

We would like to welcome Madison Cecilia Donahue, born on January 9th, 2009 at 4:01 pm.  She weighed 7 lbs and was 19.5 inches long.  We are all doing great and adjusting to being a family of 4!  Hailey is slowly getting to "know" her little sister and I think that she has finally realized that she is not going away!  We were very fortunate to have my Mom here when I delivered Madison, and to make it even more special she was born on my Mom's birthday.  Gra couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift.  Enjoy the pictures and I will get more up soon!

Introducing  Hailey and Madison

Mommy is so glad you are here!

Happy Birthday Gra!

Christmas Day

Dave was on-call on Christmas Day.  After we went to church we stopped by the hospital to get a few family pictures together!

A Day At The Park

While everyone was here over Christmas we took advantage of a day of temperatures in the 70's and had a fun afternoon at the park with Hailey and Tori.

Trying out the double stroller.

Hailey fell asleep before we made it to the park.

Tori

I don't think that a 38 week pregnant girl should be on the slide, but we were trying everything we could to get Madison out.  Even the swinging and sliding didn't work!

Gra helps Tori on the monkey bars.

Hailey and Aunt Cinder on the slide!

Enjoying the park.

Hailey gets spoiled while Gra visits!

Hailey has loved every minute that her and Gra have spent together.  Needless to say that Hailey has been spoiled and Gra has had a great time doing it.  Enjoy sharing in a couple of Hailey's firsts!

Finger Lickin' Good

Yummy!!

Can I have another one?  (Mommy said "no")

Hailey's First Doughnut

I can do it all by myself!

Please don't bother me, can't you see I am busy!

A Few New Pictures

I have not been keeping up very well with posting new pictures for all to see.  It just seems that when I have a free moment something needs to be done!!  (Imagine that.)  Enjoy these pictures for now and I will be putting up 11 month old pictures and Christmas pictures soon.  Also, I will update with any news about Madison.  At this point I am still pregnant and ready to meet her!!

Being a "ham" for the camera.

Smiling cute!

Hanging out with Daddy

Hailey in a box, Madi in Mommy's tummy.

Just a few new pictures that we took of Hailey playing in a box.  It never fails that kids seem to like the boxes that the toys come in more than the the actual toy!  Although, I do have to say that Hailey loves the activity cube that came in this box.  Thanks Aunt Cin and Tori for the early Christmas present!

Also, an update on Madison.  I am just over 34 weeks and my doctor's goal was for me to at least make it to 35 weeks, which is this Friday the 12th.  I am feeling great.  I can tell that Madison is growing and her kicks are getting stronger and more uncomfortable!  We are anxiously awaiting her arrival.  My parents will be out here over Christmas and New Year's and I would love for my Mom to be able to be here when she makes her entrance.  We will see if she cooperates.

Cheeeese!

Do you see me in here?

Waving "hi," or maybe she is telling us "no more pictures please!"
