Video of the Girls
Here is a short video of the girls. I was trying to get Hailey to give Madison a kiss, which she usually does, EXCEPT when I am trying to get her to do it on video! She just pats her head instead, but you do get a glimpse of Hailey's "kissy face" and if you listen closely you can hear Madison coo at the beginning and towards the end of the video. Enjoy!
Hailey 14 Months
Hailey is changing by the day. This is such a fun (and sometimes challenging) age! She has always been a very happy little girl and still is. She brings so much joy to our lives!
Goofball!
I'd like to think that she was intently listening to me as I talked to her!
(Not likely!)
She is showing me that she is 1!
Our Irish Twins
The official definition of "Irish Twins" is two siblings that are less than 1 year apart. Hailey and Madison fit that definition just by 10 days! As they get older it will be fun for them to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as Irish twins. Here are a few pictures from St. Patrick's Day. I had the intention of getting them coordinating outfits in green, but just didn't get around to it. Maybe next year...
I think that Hailey is pushing down on Madison's leg
and Madison is "bracing" herself for what Hailey might do next!
Sisters
What a great smile!
So content.
You want me to smile AGAIN??!!

Hailey
It is even harder for me to believe that Hailey is 1! She is such a fun little person with a great personality. She is very happy and loves to be around people. She isn't quite walking yet, which I am just fine with! She will take 3 or 4 steps in a row and if she doesn't want to walk she will let you know. The funny thing is that she "walks" on her knees, which I think has to be harder than actually walking. She is a wonderful little girl and I have so much fun teaching her new things. She is also a GREAT big sister to Madison. If Madison cries she goes over to her and gives her a "hug" or kiss, she will often try and put the pacifier in her mouth (although it usually ends up in her eye, but we are working on body parts) and she loves to give her kisses, which is the sweetest thing. Needless to say, we are so very blessed with two beautiful daughters!
The other day I came out of the office, I was on the phone and Dave was entertaining Hailey (or so I thought,) I took one look at Hailey and couldn't figure out what she had gotten in to. If you look closely at the picture she has black smudges around her mouth, on her cheeks and her dress. I asked Dave what she had gotten into and he didn't know, he had fallen asleep on the floor while she was playing! She had my Mom's watch, which I guess when it gets wet, leaves black markings. I think that my Mom needs a new watch and Dave needs to realize that he can't just fall asleep while he is "watching" Hailey!!
Food is such a great hair product!
She is also signing for "more" in this picture.
The other things that she signs for are milk, food and parts of Twinkle, twinkle little star.
